Put On Your New Nature

Ephesians 4:22-24 NLT – “…Put on the new man, that is, to assume a unique nature (character) and conduct (life) at conversion.

We Have Come to Worship Him

Matthew 2:1-2 NKJVNow, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod, the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, [2] saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”

The Gift of Peace

The ruler (prince) of this world” refers to Satan. Jesus was constantly aware of Satan’s hostile presence and was preparing for his last attack. Satan first afflicted Jesus at his temptation (Mt 4:1-11; Mk 1:12; Lk 4:1-13). Luke, however, indicates that there would be other times when the devil would tempt Jesus – Luke 4:13 NKJV – Now, when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.

Christ, Perfect Gift for Humanity!

The Bible tells us to develop a desire – to hunger and thirst – for the Lord. It is good and holy to desire God, to long to know him personally, and to come to love him deeply. It is also good and holy to desire the best for our families and friends, to hunger to share Christ with others, to help and bless the needy and oppressed, and to know God’s Word.

Christ the Living Bread

How do we “eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood”? Through the Word. “So the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” John 1:14

Who can separate us from the Love of God

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Sometimes in our lives, we think God may have forgotten us. Paul mentions events here that may cause us to think that we’ve been abandoned by God. Romans 8:37-39 ESV

Kicking over Sacred Cows

“You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord, is at hand.” James 5:8
