 What We Believe

At Citywide Christ Church (CCC), a ministry of Citywide Chapel International, we are grounded in the unchanging truth of God’s Word and the power of His Spirit. Our beliefs are anchored in the gospel of Jesus Christ and the historic faith of the early church.

  1. We believe in the Trinity: One God in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - eternal in being, equal in power, and perfect in unity.

  2. We believe in Jesus Christ: He is the Son of God, our Savior, crucified for our sins, risen from the dead, and exalted as Head of the Church. Through Him alone is salvation; in Him we find life, purpose, and redemption.

  3. We believe in the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit empowers, teaches, convicts, and sanctifies. He gives spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church and leads believers into all truth.

  4. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God: The Holy Scriptures—both the Old and New Testaments - are our final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and daily life. God’s Word is alive, relevant, and transformational.

  5. We believe in the Church: The Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, disciple, serve, and proclaim the good news to the nations. We are a community of faith, rooted in love and led by the Spirit.

  6. We believe in the power of restoration: We believe that through Christ, lives can be restored, purpose rediscovered, gifts released, and healing brought to individuals, families, and nations.

  7. We believe in living out the love of Christ: Our faith is not confined to the sanctuary. We are called to serve, uplift, and reach out - demonstrating the heart of Jesus through development initiatives, humanitarian aid, and compassionate action in a broken world.
