It is possible that God's Spirit troubled Nebuchadnezzar's spirit, causing him to recognize the importance of the dreams. Assuming the king remembered his dream, this tested whether his servants had genuine supernatural ability. They admit to each other in v. 11 that they do not have it. For this cause, the king was angry and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. Is there anything in tarot cards, astrology, palm reading? Yes. The devil is in them, and that's why we are to stay away from them. The Bible says very clearly that magic of any sort has no place in the life of the believer because the enemy uses it as a hook to get us involved in realms of the demonic. Having said that, there are tremendous limitations as to what Satan can do. That's why these men couldn't answer Nebuchadnezzar's demand.
